First time eating here. Such a treat to happen upon this wonderful establishment!! Our server, DAWN, is a jewel! As 1st timers she recommended the Family Pleaser Special meal for 2. Your choice of pizza and toppings, 2 drinks, 2 salads. AND the French salad dressing is home-made. Superb flavor. We even used it as dip for our pizza. We will be back next time we're traveling in the Mattoon area! Thank you Dawn for wonderful service and delicious meal.
The food was amazing. Service was ok. Server literally brought the appetizer out minutes b4 the food. Before she brought the appetizer I asked about not getting our appetizer yet when the table next to us that had arrived after us and already had their pizza. Her response when I was about to cancel the appetizer was I just seen him take it out of the oven...um excuse me? You seen him take it out and yet it is up there sitting while you're doing much of nothing...definitely need better servers. Food was really good though.
It had been way to long for a Monical's pizza & salad. Love their salads always crisp & chilled. Pizza yummy. Individual deluxe without hot peppers.
EVERY single time I call there for a pick up order, which is more often than I'd like to admit, I am greeted by a positive and upbeat person on the other line! They are ALWAYS polite and smiling through the phone, which is so appreciated! Keep up the good work staff and management!

Gotta love monicals pizza and the red dressing. Would have taken a pic of our pizza, but the moment it was brought it, my family devoured it, not allowing me a photo op. Whenever you see the monicals sign, you need to stop. This particular monicals was our first time visiting. The restaurant was very clean, employees very friendly and the pizza came out quickly.
